TERMS & CONDITIONS, RETURNS & PAYMENT

The following explains our responsibilities regarding your order with us, and how your transaction will be handled. It’s not particularly interesting to read, but is important for you to understand these terms & conditions when you shop with us.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Meadows Gin shop.

BUYING PRODUCTS ON OUR WEBSITE

By placing an order with Meadows Gin, you acknowledge to have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at info@meadowsgin.com before placing your order with us.

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

We have taken care to describe and show items as accurately as possible but despite this, slight variations in items may occur. All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. We accept payments in the following currencies through our WorldPay Payment Gateway: GBP.

Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this website.

We may refuse at our discretion to accept an order:
1 where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
2 if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
3 if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
4 where goods ordered by you are not available;
5 if we do not deliver to your area;

Where we do not accept your order but have processed your payment, we will re-credit your account with any amount deducted by us from your debit or credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to pay any additional amount as compensation for disappointment.

By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are over 18 and agree to an electronic age verification check to confirm this. By placing an order, you consent to a credit data search, which will leave an ID check footprint. If we cannot confirm your age via an electronic check we reserve the right to request proof of age and/or decline to fulfil your order. Orders cannot be dispatched until your age has been verified regardless of shipping option selected.

It is an offence to attempt to buy alcohol if you are under 18 years of age or to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol for persons under the age of 18.

REFUND POLICY

For cancellations or returns please contact us via e-mail at info@meadowsgin.com. Depending on circumstances, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods ordered, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible. We will require you to return the goods to us in the original packaging as soon as reasonably practicable. Refunds will be for the price paid for goods only and will not include and price paid for shipping.

PROCESSING YOUR ORDER & DELIVERY

If your order is received by 11am, we’ll do our best to dispatch it the next working day. We try to process all orders within 1 working day of receiving them, however as we use a third party courier on occasion we do experience some breakages which may delay your order.

We deliver across the UK via APC. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Meadows Gin and transfer of responsibility in the same way.

If possible, please check the condition of your parcel before you sign for it. If it’s at all damaged, don’t sign for it but hand it back to the courier to return to us. If you only discover that your parcel is damaged after you’ve signed for it, please email immediately at info@meadowsgin.com stating your order number.

To purchase products from Meadows Gin, you must be of legal age to buy alcohol in the country in which you reside.

Delivery will only be made to individuals of legal purchase age and our delivery company will require signature on delivery. Our delivery company will check ID if they are unsure of the recipients age.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to addresses outside the UK. You may place an order for Product(s) from outside the UK if you have a UK billing address for your credit or debit card, but the order must be for delivery to an address within the UK.

You must order before 12 noon for next day delivery but please note deliveries are not made Saturday and Sunday.

Please note that any orders placed between 12 noon on Friday and midnight Sunday will be dispatched Tuesday.

We reserve the right to upgrade your delivery to a better service at our cost.
We currently only dispatch items within the UK.

Delivery should normally be made by 5:30pm.

Delivery timescales are set by the couriers.
